De Groot wrote that the little chapel
there with the image of the Lady of All Nations
was packed day and night in those days with
people who sang and prayed continuously. |

the Lady of All Nations. |

On May
13, 2004, Fr. Josafat,
a Greek Catholic Basilian priest, organized
a Day of Prayer in the Ukrainian city Lemberg.
In 2003, he attended the Day of Prayer in Amsterdam
with Bishop Bilyk
and again this year on May 31, 2004. One thousand
participants were expected in the Ukraine; in
the end, 3,000 came!
Only four months later, September 11, 2004,
a second Day of Prayer took place in Lemberg,
organized by the Greek Catholic Church in cooperation
with the Roman Catholic Church. Altogether about
5,000 people participated. |
